11 Months Old

Well we have made it to 11 Months!! I can't believe how big she has gotten in such a short time!! She amazes me every day with the new things she learns! We have started walking! She is getting more and more brave and goes off on her own more now while walking. She has started to get up by herself in the middle of the floor which is pretty comical to watch! She loves to turn her dads Xbox on and off and watch the lights turn on! Irregardless if he is in the middle of a football game! We are headed to Utah for the weekend. Chelsea, Dace, and Harper are getting sealing in the temple and we are taking Macady's one year old pictures and our family pictures. It's so crazy!!! One year old!! I have a one year old!! We will be pretty busy next month but have some fun things coming up! So stay posted for those!! Sorry this post is so short. Got to get the car loaded while she is napping!! 10 Months Old

Macady is 10 Months old this weekend. Everyday this little girl just gives me more to smile about. She is growing and learning so much every day it just amazes me. I sit and watch her and I just picture a clock with all parts moving and connecting. Like how she learned to open the cupboard doors and how she can pull the tail on one of her toys to make it work. She learns so quickly and is so smart. I would love to say that every day is fun and laughs but its not. She knows how to push my buttons and get me to the end of my rope. There are some days that I tell myself that I will never have another child, and then she does something so cute and so sweet, like crawling over and putting her head right on my lap and just smiling at me.. It melts my heart every time! She is my child and I am so grateful to have her in my life! I can't imagine my days without her! She is so close to walking right now its crazy! She has a little push toy that she pushes all over the house and thinks she is so big! :) She can also turn around at the top of the stairs and scoots down. She only gets about two steps down before she turns around and thinks she is at the bottom. She can say things on command now like mama, dada, nana, and she will shake her head back and forth when you tell her No and she says nanananana.. Little stink! We are well on our way to being weened. She nurses first thing when she wakes up, another time before her afternoon nap and then once more before bed. So we are down to 2 feeds a day and she is also sleeping all night from 9-8. :) It's heavenly to sleep that long again. 

Heather and the kids came out for a week before school started and we had a blast! We went shopping, to Water World (Totally awesome place! We are going to make it a family tradition to have them come out every year! We had a blast!), and we went to a trampoline warehouse and played there for an afternoon. I forgot how much I liked jumping on the trampoline! I also forgot that I could still do front handsprings and front flips! We got quite the work out in! 

Speaking of work out! I have been doing Cross fit with Johnny for about a month now and I am enjoying it! Every morning after a work out I feel like I have been hit by a truck but it's all worth it! I am down to lower than my pre-pregnancy weight and I am loving my "Mommy Body". Most days I feel more attractive than I ever did in high school even! So I am glad to be in this stage! 

Lesha also came out over the weekend after Heather and the kids left and she spoiled us all rotten.. She bought Macady a new outfit that is adorable and she bought me a couple pairs of shoes and a couple pairs of... Wait for it.... Skinny Jeans.. I have never worn Skinny Jeans in my life.. I have never thought that they looked good on me until apparently now! :) I am in love with them! I am so glad I was talked into it! She also bought Johnny several pairs of work pants and shirts! He has worked so hard to get the the point he is at now and he looks amazing! I am so proud of him and all he has accomplished! He is such an amazing, selfless person, who would give the shirt of his back to a stranger. I am the luckiest person alive to be a part of his life, let alone his wife for eternity! He takes such great care of Macady and I and is always looking out for whats best for us. He always thinks of hisself last and us first and for that I am so grateful! Our life has it's trials daily but we are able to overcome anything that is thrown our way because we work together and have each other.. For the long haul!!

We are going to Utah in September for my sister and her husband to be sealed in the temple and to their daughter Harper. We are also getting family pictures done for my family and Johnnys' family. We are also having Macady's 1 year old pictures done as well! I can't wait! I am so glad that my sister does wonderful Photography work! Then in October we will be going to Vegas for one of our friends wedding (Macady gets to be a flower girl) And then Macady's Birthday!!! :) My little girl is growing up!!

Grandma Lesha and Baby Girl

9 Months Old

My sweet baby Macady is 9 months old today! I can't even believe how fast these last 9 months have gone. They have gone by alot faster than they did when I was pregnant thats for sure! She is such a joy in our lives! She keeps us on our feet and always wondering what is going to come next!

She has 5 teeth with two breaking through as we speak! She crawls ALL over the place and is into everything she can reach! She also can pull herself up on pretty much everything and she can walk from one end of something to the other. She likes to play patty cake and she likes it when I sing along to any song that is playing at the moment. (It doesn't sound the greatest, but she seems to think so!) She also loves theme songs on any TV show or movie that we watch (The Office, How I met your Mother, Grey's Anatomy) I don't know if it something in the jingle or what but whatever she is doing she stops to dance either standing up or sitting down and then when it ends she is back to getting into trouble! She has an absolute MAD love for the bath! If it is running she is standing by it! (We have to be very careful not to leave the room when the tub is filling or full) And don't even try closing the door to keep her out. She sits and bangs on the door and screams because she knows someone is taking a bath without her! Lol.. She also loves to help "Load" the dish washer. Which entails her unloading it as you put it in! She doesn't really eat baby food she just eats whatever we are eating for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. She loves it all. Her favorite fruit is watermelon and she loves chicken. She does this with every item that I put away anywhere. (Toys, laundry,) you get the idea. We are still nursing every 3-4 hours and we start weening next month.. So crazy!  She has pretty much veto'd the binky. She will only take it for about 1 minute when she is falling asleep and then it gets spit out. but that is only some times. She takes 2  two hour naps a day. Occasionally they can be longer or shorter but they are pretty exact. She goes to bed at 9 and wakes up around 2 to eat and goes right back to bed till 7 and then we are  up for the day. Somedays we get lucky and get to sleep till 8 but that's pretty rare! She is always up within 2-3 minutes of 7 in the morning! How do they do that?

Last week was quite the week! Macady was on one and sheh decided to grab a glass full of red cherry limeade that was out of reach and pull it off the entertainment center on to my white carpet. I about had a heart attack! So while I was in the process of using as many cleaning supplies as I have in my house she managed to find a water bottle and pop the lid off of it and was partially choking on it and couldn't get it out of her mouth. In my complete panic I had to decide between letting her choke while I went and washed the cleaning products off my hands and then run to her aid and pull the cap out of her mouth or I had to take the chance of her getting poisoned by the supplies on my hands and get it out of her mouth and not let her choke to death on it.. I went with the poison. So I quickly got it out and then finished my task of getting the red out of my carpet. Needless to say Pintrest is AWESOME and I got it all out. Use baking soda, 409 spray and hydrogen proxide followed by scrubbing and then using a white towel on top and then iron all over it. It soaked it all out and onto the towl CRAZY but totally worked! Got every bit of it out.

Anyways! Thinking that we had gone through enough followed the next day of Macady falling down the stairs because the baby gate didn't get shut! She was done crying by the time I got her upstairs but I wasn't! I was distraught! I was sure she was going to be dead or something broken! I felt like the mom of the century with that one! But all is well and we are all still alive! Hoping that we won't have any more "Spills" for a while!

I am starting to plan Macady's birthday party! I can't believe in a few short months she will be one! It's so crazy!!  Here are some pictures and a cute video of her laughing! She cracks me up! I entered it into Americas Funnies Home Videos! :)

8 Months Old

Well we finally hit the big 8 months old! I can't even believe how fast time has gone and how big my baby is now! She has her 2 bottom teeth and another bottom one just cut through. I know that the two tops ones arn't far behind because her gums are super swollen and she chews and drools like crazy! We are officially crawling and in to absolutely everything!! It's so fun yet such a pain all at the same time! She cracks me up half the time she does things just to get a reaction from you. She is her father through and through.. She has some of me in there but she is definetly her fathers daughter. Probably another reason I love her so much..

I spent a majority of the month of June in Vernal helping Chelsea with her new baby Harper. She was born on June 15th and she is just the cutest little peanut ever! I am glad I was able to go out and help her as much as I could. We were able to really come closer than we have been probably our whole lives and it was nice to feel like we could be there for each other.. She and Dace are great parents already and they have so much more to look forward to!

Johnny turned 29 on the 20th! He is starting to Creep up there on the old man scale! :) Since I was gone over his birthday our friends were nice enough to take him out to dinner and ice cream! He is such an amazing guy and I am so blessed to have him as my partner in crime! :)

We are getting together with some friends for a BBQ for the 4th of July and maybe play some games so that should be fun. Probably go hiking or something fun this weekend and then next week I am throwing a Maxi Skirt party! :) I have a few projects that I have in the works for my little home. Mostly for Macady's room so we shall see how all that pans out.  Life is going great. It was nice to be in Vernal for a bit and get to see family but it sure is nice to be back home with my husband and in my own bed! Well thats all for now!

Crash Course Catch Up!

So every time never fails I tell myself I need to write on my blog.. It makes me feel better to sit down and type from time to time, but yet I never seem to find the time! Little Miss Mac takes up soooo much time these days! And when she goes down for bed at 9 there is that small part of me that says should I write in my blog or should I go to sleep and sleep ALWAYS wins.. Not that its really a big deal anyways because I don't think anyone reads this thing anyways! But oh well!

Johnny's mom Lesha and Dalton my little brother came out over their spring break and Easter and we had a wonderful time! Colored Eggs which didn't turn out so well.. Turns out my Food coloring mixing skills aren't great and colors ended up being only blue green or brown! haha! Opps! Now I know for next time! Macady got some fun toys from the Easter bunny and Grandma Lesha bought her a really Cute Easter dress and another spring dress! She looked so cute for church.. We only stayed for Sacrament though because Macady was just getting over having RSV! That was horrible! Two weeks of no sleep was soooo not fun! She gave us a couple scares and had to have breathing treatments but we managed and she is back to being a 100% Adorable! :)

Well Little Miss turns 6 months old a week from today and she is soooo much fun!! She is an absolute doll and I am so proud to be her mommy! She brings so much happiness into my life every day! She is getting more and more hair on her head and she just keeps getting bigger! Not to mention I can see two little white spots that are about to break through for her first little baby nippers! She is already in 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers. She wants really really badly to crawl! I really don't think it will be long before it happens! She is ready and I almost am! All I have left to baby proof the house is a baby gate for the top of the stairs. I think I found one that will work with our banister though on line so that's in the works! :) We are 100% moved into our new place and I absolutely love it! It's perfect for what we need right now and Colorado is really starting to feel like home. My mom and sister came out over the weekend and were planning on going home on Tuesday but the weather was terrible and they ended up staying till Thursday morning. We had a great time and Chelsea got a bunch of shopping done for her new house and baby Harper's room. I can't wait for that little baby to get her! Being an Aunt is pretty awesome! And it will be wonderful to see my sister as a new mommy!

May 11th-17th - I'm going to Vernal with my parents to stay out there while Johnny is in Houston for training. (Then Macady and I will be flying home, her first plane ride) YIKES!
May 17th - Kevin's Birthday (Johnny's Brother)
May 23rd-26th - Going back to Vernal again for Dalton's High School Graduation.
May 25th - Macady turns 7 Months Old
May 30th - Heather' Birthday (Johnny's Sister)

THEN we finally get a little bit to take a breather! :) Until Chelsea has her baby in June!

Resteraunt Week

Soooo it was resteraunt week in Denver this week and Johnny and I got to go out to dinner with Jody and Todd. It was a blast! Had an amazing Fillet Minon (Spelling).. And a yummy chocolate dessert. Macady went over to Jordan and Larissa's house and they babysat for a couple hours for us! It is sooooo wonderful to have good friends! We love them to death!

Kevin took Tessa the same morning and it was pretty emotional.. :( I cried pretty good when they left.. I have such a big heart for animals.. And it isn't just dogs, its all of God's creatures.. They all seem to tug at my heart strings.. But she is happy back in Vernal and will be well taken care of.. :) Chloe is doing well. She got a new doggy bed today and she was pretty excited about it.

 

Macady has officially mastered the roll over from tummy to back. She really has no desire to go from back to tummy yet. But I am sure that it is all a matter of time. She is sooo wiggly all the time I'm betting that she will be crawling and walking AHHHHH... :)

 

We close on our house on the 5th and will be moving in on the 8th and 9th! It's crazy that it went so fast! But I can't wait to get in it and get things put away again! :/

 

Macady had her first taste of cereal tonight! She liked it! We had a mess but she is ready for food! :)

Winter Wonderland and a new home and a little dancing

So..... Today is a white out blizzard! Kevin came out for the weekend and he looks to be staying an extra day because of the snow storm! :) Hopefully it will keep snowing and Johnny can have a snow day tomorrow! :) Well I guess I can probably let everyone know that we are under contract to buy a Condo/Townhome. It's only across the street from our current apartment so it isn't far but we are pretty excited! It will be nice to have our little own place that we can do with what we please.  It's the same size as our apartment but serveral upgrades. New granite counter tops new carpet bigger kitchen and such. We are excited. We'll be posting pictures in a few weeks. We close on the 5th of March and should be moving in the next week! They moved so stinking quick! They do things fast over here! We went and looked at on the 6th of Feb. So it only took one month to get everything done! Way Crazy!! Not looking forward to packing things up.. Thank goodness its only about 1000 yards away or less.. lol.. We will see how Macady takes things moving to a new house.. Hopefully she will be more help than problems! :)

Tessa is going to be going home with Kevin back to Vernal. She is just not the apartment type dog and she is missing the freedom of being outdoors. Mo on the other hand doesn't have such a problem with living in small living quarters. We might get another Mini Schnauzer someday. I like them too much. And they don't shed so it makes life alot easier!! :)

Macady seems to be getting bigger and bigger every day. She is getting so much more personality and Sass! She is a little stinker! She has her next doctors appointment on the 11th of March and she gets to start eating Rice and Oatmeal. I will be curious to see how much she has grown this time. She fills out almost all of her 6 month clothes already. Everyone always comments on how big she is for her age.

So we taught country swing dancing to the youth in our ward a few weeks ago and we had an absolute blast!! The kids did amazing and it was sooo much fun! I think we even got a couple of babysitters out of the deal! :) We are hoping that we will do a follow up and teach the group a few more moves! It makes me miss dancing so much! That's what made me fall in love with my husband and it gives me butterflies every time we do it! I can't help that I am a hopeless romantic.. :( Always have been always will be! Loving and thoughtful surprises seem to always get me.. :) But anyways.. That's it for now..

Macady is starting to roll over. She needs just a little encouragement but she is so close. And she is also sitting up with assistance! She is a little wobbly but she starts to fall forward and then pops herself right back. She is better at catching herself going forward than to the side or back but she is getting the hang of it. She likes tummy time but only for a five or so minutes at a time. It's amazing how much she grows every day. She gets more and more personality. Johnny and I are always talking about what she is going to be like when she gets bigger. What sports she's going to play, what she will like. I forgot to post some of the pictures I took of her on Valentines Day. She looked pretty cute! :)

A Little love and Swimming

Two days leading up to Valentines Day I decided to catch the 24 hour flu.. Yeah not by choice! It was HORRIBLE! I couldn't even walk! Johnny had to come home from work early and stay home the next day with me! I couldn't even pick Macady up I was horrified that I might drop her! Thankfully by Wednesday night I was starting to feel better. Johnny decided to take us to the movie on Valentines day and took us to see SafeHaven. It was a really good book and I was glad to see the movie. I was worried how well it would go with Macady because she has been so fussy lately, but sure enough she was an angel! We even got a compliment that she was so well behaved! So that was nice! Macady got alot of cards and a super cute outfits from Grandma Lesha and Grandma Judy. She is just a little spoiled. I suppose that is why she hasn't been sleeping lately. She used to sleep all night and then she has all the sudden decided she doesn't want to do that any more. She gets so tired and knocks out in our arms. We lay her down and she POPS her eyes wide open and will NOT go to sleep. She will stay up till midnight cooing and talking. She has found her voice lately and likes to scream. Not a mad scream just a "I'm so excited, I'm going to make sure everyone knows it" scream. It's not always so pleasent to say the least. Lol. I don't know what we are going to do with her. The only way she will sleep is with me on the futon in her room or inbetween Johnny and I in our bed.. She has us whooped I guess. But I sure hope it won't be for long because I do Not want her in my bed! I keep telling myself it's just because she is teething. She will be 4 Months old this month. She is getting really big. Her next doctors appointment is on the 11th of March and we get to start her on Rice. I know is ready for it because she always opens her mouth to anything you put towards her. Lol. She is pretty funny..


Today we decided to take Macady swimming for the first time! She always loves bath time every night so much we thought she would have a good time in the big pool. They have a salt water pool at the gym so we decided to try it out! Macady was thrilled! She loved it.. Not exactly showing it in the pictures but she was! :) Don't mind me in my swimming suit! Not quite ready for swim suit weather! But we are getting there!
